Denby Dale All Stars, our After of School Club children from 3 to 8 years, worked with Yew Three Theatre Group to produce a show based on the story of Goldilocks & the 3 Bears. They performed the piece at the Pie Hall.

Christmas Sing-Song and Coffee Morning
The Christmas Sing-Song on Wednesday 14th Dec was extremely well attended again this year. Thankyou to the Friends of Denby Dale for holding a Coffee Morning in the Community Room following the Sing-Song.
Thank-you to children, parents, governors and staff who joined us at Cumberworth Carnival on Saturday 2nd July. Nursery children and parents danced superbly to the Sticky Kids Music. Well done everyone!
Denby Dale Nursery School and Sure Start Children’s Centre held their annual June Fair on Saturday 18th June from 10.00 to 12.00. Thank you to parents, nursery and Sure Start staff and governors who helped with preparations or on the day and made it a very successful event. Our MP, Simon Reevell and his wife, Louise attended the fair and had a brief tour of the building.
We made £543 which will be used on developing the outdoor area. Well done!
The Nursery’s Annual Sponsored Bike Ride was held on Saturday 21st May at Pugneys Country Park. We had an excellent turnout and some fantastic cyclists and walkers. Well done everyone!
We made £825.50 which is going to be used to buy trainer bikes and to improve the outdoor area.
