The Explorers

Children aged from birth to 3years.
These rooms include a space that is quiet and calm for the younger children who need a safe base from which to explore. An open planned space is used for the walkers and talkers to access all areas of the curriculum.
Ratios are maintained at 1 adult :3 children under 2yrs and 1 adult :4 children up to 3yrs.

The Discoverers

Children aged from 3-4years.
Children are integrated into the Nursery School for daycare and to access their free education sessions which are teacher led.
Ratios are maintained at 1 adult :8 children in daycare and 1 adult : 13 children in the education sessions with a Teacher.

The Inventors

Children aged from 4-10years.
The Inventors are our Out of School Club.
We provide a Breakfast Club, where the children arrive for breakfast before walking up to Gilthwaites First School with a member of our staff team.
The children are collected from Gilthwaites at the end of the day, walk down to nursery for tea and activities in our After School Club.

Ratios are maintained at 1 adult :8 children

The Holiday Club

Children aged from birth -10years.
The Holiday Club is open for all of the school holidays and we welcome children from all of the surrounding areas.

Daycare Routines

The Explorers

Children aged from birth to 3 years.

Each day may vary as we organise our days around the needs of the children. Daily routines include:

- free play, both indoors and outdoors making use of our excellent garden and play facilities
- group time, involving story and singing
- sleep/rest time
- optional breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea.
